The Sir Thomas hotel has stood proudly in the centre of Liverpool for over 100 years and is popular with locals and visitors alike while boasting over 100 rooms as well as a popular bar area and brasserie which has recently been fully refurbished.
Working closely with the client our team designed and built a fully responsive website which shamelessly shows off the splendour and beauty of this historic building while also giving potential visitors a genuine feel for what they can expect during their stay.

Web Design

Mobile Responsive
With more people using phones and tablets to browse the internet than ever before a fully responsive web design, which allows the website to resize and reformat automatically depending on the device being used was a must; resulting in an optimum viewing experience for visitors browsing on a range of devices.
This is particularly important in the hospitality industry when people are searching the internet for rooms and accommodation, often on the move using their phone or tablet.
The primary aims of creating a mobile responsive site were;
- To improve the customer experience on a range of devices
- To increase visits and ultimately bookings
- To generate more revenue generation
Photography
Capturing the sheer beauty of this 19th-century property was a huge challenge but our photography team excelled themselves and featured every facet of the famous old building in all of its glory for use on the website itself, social media campaigns or email marketing and promotional material along with a number of menu options and staff shots.

Content Marketing
Through engaging and informative posts our targeted content marketing strategy, featuring everything from latest news events to accommodation and entertainment packages, enabled us to drive traffic to the site and increase page rankings while ultimately generating greater revenue for the business. We did this through;
- Active Social Media Campaigns Across all platforms
- Producing Regular Posts and Blogs
- Sponsored Social Posts
- Competition Strategy to Increase Following

Social Media
An engaging social media presence is vital in the hospitality and by combining regular updates and news based posts with informal content and competitions we have seen a huge increase in likes, shares and impressions as well as a much greater reach; in doing so we were able to increase brand awareness while also keeping followers informed of all the very latest from the hotel. This was done through:
- Regular Facebook Posts
- An Ongoing Twitter Campaign
- Boosted Posts
