This particular graphic has been created with the use of data from Deloitte’s Football Money League report which details the financial accounts of the 20 richest football clubs in the world. We have taken this data and split each of the revenue categories – Commercial, Broadcast and Matchday – into a separate illustration to help interpret the report in a new light.
As you can see, there are some surprising findings amongst the data. For instance, it’s clear that without their large Emirates Stadium fanbase, Arsenal would find it difficult to compete with the other clubs in the top 20.
